The Blood Bay Colt

When I was a young teen, I read this book before even reading The Black Stallion and I really enjoyed it. It inspired me to go look for the other books written by Walter Farley. It was a really great and interesting book that showed the perseverance and dedication of people working things out while trying to make success. Now, every time I see a beautiful red bay horse with a rich mahogany coat and striking black legs I am reminded of this colt, a trotter named Bonfire… The Blood Bay Colt.
