The Black Hole in the Basement

This book is the second part of the great Saga De Bellis Stellarum : a tale of the battle between Light and Darkness, and the return of chivalry through the founding of a modern Order of Knights. It's June of 2007 and the Weaver triplets - Mike, Matt, and Mark - are between junior and senior year of college. They're working at their father's bookstore in the famous seaside booktown called Quayment when they're not hanging out on the local beach or being volunteer firefighters. They're on their way to a fire when a sinister stranger comes into the bookstore. That night, something unusual happens at Weaver's Books, something terrible and fantastic - something no one would believe if they knew - but the next day, there's a peculiar smell in the air and books begin disappearing. A pair of special agents from a mysterious and utterly secret organization are called in to deal with the situation, but they can make no progress in dealing with the sinister invasion until Mark stumbles upon a box of books that once belonged to his friend Tom Felsen. As a result, Mark meets those special agents and is faced with a tough question: is he willing to sacrifice a whole week of his life to fight the massive menace which threatens not only the Weaver bookstore but the entire east coast of North America?
