My son is autistic and this is an easy read for us at night. He can easily identify the characters and the colors and the story are not complicated. My son loves it! The book is also not too busy which is great for focusing on specifics theme such as color or items. I absolutely love it because my autistic 7 year old son loves it!

Personally, this isn’t a book for children that you pick up to make sound effects and get them geeked for some fire trucks or petting a fuzzy bunny. This is the closest modern revival of “Love You Forever” — something my momma read to me, but I grew to appreciate the memories as I got older. It’s a sweet book and the illustrations are lovely.
