Nick Jr the Backyardigans: First Look and Find

I got this for my 3 1/2 year old, the pages are not so full that she gets tired of looking at the pages. Pictures are given of the items that need to be found and in the direction that they are in the big search picture. There are more items in the pictures than what is being asked for, the back of the book also gives you other things to try and find. She likes to "read" the book by herself to find the objects and makes up a story to go with the picture. More than just a look and find book, it gets her imagination working also. Now she also "reads" to her little brother. Because it is a board book, I keep it where she can reach it herself and I don't worry about her little brother tearing the pages. We have more of the same type of books and are likely to get more.

This is a great book! We got it for our son's b-day in July so he hasn't seen it yet, but I know he's going to love it (books about the TV show he watches...he loves to read and loves The Backyardigans).

My kids enjoy the Backyardigans, so this was a good book. It is aimed for young children, like toddler and younger.

My son doesnt like reading all too much but he does LOVE the Backyardigans. He was drawn to this book almost immediately and now he is able to recongnize and say some of the things that are in the picture! Awesome book, I would definately recommomend this to all parents of boys around the age of 2!
