Best book on influencing strategic partners ...

Hugh MacDonald is the former head of global HR operations and knowledge management for CIBC - one of the big Canadian banks. He was in the right place at the right time and became one of the first HR executives to actually implement and manage a $300 million HR outsourcing deal. Others have written books on outsourcing strategy. Why outsource? What should you outsource? Who should you outsource with? This book is about the tactics of working day-to-day with outsourcing, and other, partners. It's full of ideas about relationship management that should delight both the neophyte HR consultant and the experienced pro. It's a pretty good handbook and worth shelf space. I give it four stars.
