Written by an accomplished choral director, I use this book as a choice for book reading in my Music Methods class. the students who have chosen it enjoy it because it offers an educational philosophy that is realistic while remaining positive about educators' role in changing lives for the better.

I am not one to give opinions or encourage someone to buy something. Even though Dr. Tim is a music philospoher, his ideas can be used in any classroom. He is inspiring to teachers, and his book is a must read for all who want to teach or who want to teach better than before.
