I think this is a good book to show children how ridiculous and harmful it is to argue over trifles

I really got a kick out of this book when I read it in grade school. I think it is a good book for children, and the best type of story, too --- one that is not only entertaining, but one that TEACHES you something, as well... this story shows so clearly how ridiculous and harmful it is to argue over a trifling matter, like about who owns some APPLES... I mean, why didn't King Oscar just plant a second apple tree, this one on his own kingdom's property??? That way, both he and King Sam could have had their own apples, and there would have been no more dispute about who owned them.
