A different way to see things

A great view on anger, I recommend to any parent who wants to understand their relationships more.

Great Advice for ALL parents!

As a first time mom, I felt this book helped me understand how to better raise my child. I didnt want to "spank" but am not 100% against it... I just wanted to find a better way so it wouldnt be necessary. WOW, what a great book. Helped me realize my signals that I gave off, as I was getting aggravated, how to difuse them and how to make it more about the "rules" than about "because I said so" I have a lovely daughter who is incredibly well behaved and I have to say that part of it was because I read this book early on, before she was "trying the limits" Dont get me wrong, she did test the limits, but I was better prepared how to handle it when she did. THANK YOU~

Great book

If think that the "bribe and threaten" method of discipline (euphemistically known as 'giving consequences')might be doing harm to your relationship to your child and their development, you are right! Read this book, and learn a saner way that works. You will feel enormous relief as will your kids, and be much more effective than you ever thought possible. The book really is more about parenting than family conflict despite what the title indicates. Great in conjunction with The Anger Habit with Relationships, and stylistically an improvement over the original Anger Habit.
