Twenty four stories for twentyfour days before Christmas...Read a story every evening after dinner. A great family hour or before bedtime story time. Stories are version of international traditional tales. Each have a special lesson or message. I bought this book after reading a library book. It was special enough that I wanted my own copy. The illustrations are beautiful too. While it is a children's book, many adults will enjoy it too.

Outstanding Book. A must if you enjoy advent traditions. We first found this book in Germany in 2004 and love it !! Our children look forward to hearing it every year and do not tire of hearing the heartwarming stories that make them laugh and think....
