A True Holiday Treasure

My 6-year-old daughter calls this "a winter treat." She really loves it "because I love American Girls. I like to read about them and all the different Christmases, because I want to learn about everything in the old times." Along with the seasonal stories, the book includes interesting information about how Christmas was celebrated in the different times. I highly recommend it to American Girl lovers as well as children interested in history. One warning, though, my daughter wants to own every doll she reads about.

This is a collection of Christmas stories. It includes stories about Molly, Kit, Samantha, Addy, Kirsten and Josephina, with family trees and illustrations. Very nice and presentable book, it also has a cd with holiday music and between the stories, short "looking back" texts on Christmas celebrations at different years with pictures and photos.
