The Amazing Bible Factbook for Kids

I also was walking throught the ailes of Walgreens when the cover caught my eye. The book is filled with interesting facts about the cultural trends and rituals from the bible. Alot of times things like animal sacrifices, marriages, or social status can have little meaning to our generation but the book helps make these cultural differences relevant. The reading is interesting and easy to follow. The pictures also are fun, making the whole experience rather enjoyable and not overwhelming. I think it would help draw the attention of our primary kids as well as older ones.. and even adults! Great bathroom reading! ;)

Getting kids interested in the bible can be a challenge sometimes, but this book helps the reader get excited about the neat stories and facts of our biblical ancestry. The Amazing Bible Factbook for Kids is a great title, but it certainly has so many facts that adults will enjoy! There's a great blend of historical facts blended with contemporary information as well. While I plan to purchase this for my kids, family members and friends' children, I also plan to give a copy to my pastor. I'm sure he'll find it a great tool for his sermon planning...adding fun facts into his message. It's full color...great graphics and photos. The layout is very interesting and changes from page to page. It's easy to find what you're looking for. What to know what they wore in ancient times? Go to the Clothing and Cosmetics section. Need some facts about the food they ate...again, there's a section for food. Looking for a great gift for Christmas? Stock up on a few of these!
