This was my first book on barbecue. It is the best I've seen for beginners, and it has a lot in it for experienced makers of 'cue. The instructions were clear and easy to understand, and every recipe I tried worked a treat. One of the sauce recipes is still a family favorite that people request. I recommend it very highly. And this is from a guy who's been cooking barbecue low and slow for 20 years and owns most of the classic barbecue cookbooks.
