The Ahriman Gate...keep it closed, please...

Book Review: The Ahriman Gate....Keep it closed, please... By Bruce Collins I have been reading one of the scariest and most exciting books I've read in a long time. The author, Tom Horn, also founded www.raidersnewsupdate.com, which is a website that is hard to typecast except to say that it is one-third Matt Drudge, Art Bell and Billy Graham. If you have not seen it, it would be worth your while to check it out. Personally, I now make it a daily stop. Returning to the book, 'The Ahriman Gate' is the perfect action book, harmoniously blending a tale of intrigue, violence, mayhem and purpose. Learning about Tom Horn and studying raidersnewsupdate.com, I realize that Tom Horn is the Tom Clancy of modern day phenomena and government cover up. He writes from experience. Everyone should benefit from reading this book. Entertained may not be the word to describe your feelings after reading 'The Ahriman Gate' but you will find it extremely thought provoking and well worth your time. Science fiction buffs will love the cool gadgets (which I would love to own but haven't found yet at Sharper Image). They also will like the UFO storyline that includes references to the face on Mars and those terrifying "Grays" (alien beings....or not?). Action buffs will love the terrifying scenes that are reminiscent of many of Governor Arnold's movies. Actually, this is Independence Day meets Predator meets James Bond meets the Exorcist. Spies, grays, demons, mythological creatures, spaceships, UFOs, Men In Black, government officials- it's all here and Horn creates an ambiance that made me feel like I was actually spying on the characters. In fact, this would make a great movie. There is a Christian theme or underpinning to the book but I think this book would appeal to everyone due to an incredible storyline. The action takes you in and it keeps you till the very end. I would recommend reading this book while visiting Raidersnewsupdate.com. Why? For one thing, the subjects that are dealt with in this book are going on today behind closed doors and this website often usurps 'overlooked' headlines that you may not find anywhere else. How's this for a thrilling twist? It seems that the government is paying attention to Mr. Horn. Recently, during an internet interview with Tom, 13,000 listeners were logged on from government computers. Who says this book is fiction? Kind of makes you want to rush out and buy it? I highly recommend that you do. Sincerely, Bruce Collins, former book reviewer for Monster Radio and book reviewer at www.americanchronicle.com and www.worldsentinel.com Tom Horn www.raidersnewsupdate.com www.ahrimangate.com

I Know Who Phobos Is!

In 1978 I was youth pastor at a church in Oregon. Tom Horn was part of that church and taught the adult class once in awhile. Admittedly, he was one of the best Bible teachers I've ever heard. A few years later he moved to Portland, Oregon and connected with a man named Donald Jones, a Ph.D. in Biblical History. The two of them wrote a book about mythology called "The Gods Who Walk Among Us". Connecting the dots between Tom, Dr. Jones, and the character everybody is trying to identify--Phobos in "The Ahriman Gate"--is not that difficult. Don Jones went to Bible college with the man that I believe is Phobos, who later became extensively involved with the current White House administration's first term and certainly positioned to know inside information concerning extraterrestrials. Additionally, Tom has been friends with Dr. William Carmichael, publisher of several Christian magazines and current CEO of VMI Publishers for years (the publisher of "The Ahriman Gate"). Mr. Carmichael served on several presidential committees during the campaign to put George Bush in office and is also a very close friend of the man I believe is Phobos. That man is... former Attorney General, John Ashcroft. It's common knowledge that Dr. Jones and William Carmichael associated with Ashcroft on numerous occasions, and given Carmichael's willingness to publish Tom's controversial and fairly transparent "disclosure" book, I'm confident I have correctly identified Ashcroft as "Phobos" of "The Ahriman Gate". I publically challenge the Horn's to prove that I am wrong.

Shocking Revelations!!!

Excellent book and I must say after reading it I have a suspicion the internet buzz about the authors is correct-somewhere, at some level, the Horn's are connected to people who know more about ufo technology then they are saying. I make this claim because I worked for a subcontractor several years ago doing top secret research on invisibility soldier garb and even for airplanes using the very science mentioned in this book. A couple key phrases tell me the authors know more about the technology than the general public. How they got this information is beyond me. As for the book itself, I'm not a Christian, so parts of it went over my head. I nevertheless found myself intrigued by what was fictionalized and how portions of the Bible were tied in to a horror story. It reminded me of Dean Koontz. I can recommend this book to anybody. Christians may like it most, but non-Christians will find plenty here to entertain and in some places maybe to scare them. A couple parts are a bit gross but understandable given one characters fascination with the occult. Now I'm off to see if I can figure out the codes that are purported to be in the book. I already got the part about the Internet site and the codes there, but some of the other codes I read about in chat rooms sound the best. I give "The Ahriman Gate" five stars and would buy other books by these authors in the future.

More than meets the eye

I had the opportunity of meeting Tom Horn at a conference many years ago in California. He was pastoring a church and had a daily radio and television show. I was working with the government back then, and some of the things Tom was eventualy willing to share with me told me that at some point he had received information most people are not aware of. I'm not sure what is motivating him now, but some of what he knew back then plus evidently some new info has been woven into this effective end times thriller. I also know some of The Ahriman Gate is on target because when Tom was on the radio show "The Q Files", the shows host, Stephen Quayle, invited him to come back on again a few days later, and when he did, over 13,000 government and military computers, including the Pentagon, NASA, Southcom, Northcom and every branch of the military locked on to hear what he would say. Some of these institutions had as many as 400+ computers connected to that show at the same time. If THEY are interested in what Tom had to say, maybe we should be too.

You Will Believe!

This is a book that really makes a person think about the reality of the phrase "ignorance is bliss" because you will read it and have your ordinary humdrum perspective on life clearly confronted to face the fact that a battle of cosmic proportions is occurring right under your nose and you didn't even know it. You will see that good and evil actually do exist and that it does count whether or not you are standing up for what is right. The characters may be fictional but the issues are derived straight from the headlines and fascinating stories making news today. This book successfully opens one's eyes to the fact that you better know what you believe and why! You don't have the luxury to do anything else. Mark B.
