This book was surprisingly unique. I understand now why "The Afterlife of Billy Fingers" is a must-read for anyone who's interested in afterlife studies. This book wasn't written by a psychic or a PhD researcher. This is simply a personal account of one woman's experience with her brother's death, and the post-mortem communications they shared. Annie Kagen started out a skeptic. I always find reading about other's journeys from skeptism, through belief, to KNOWING absolutely enjoyable. On a more personal note, I enjoyed "The Afterlife of Billy Fingers" because in life, Billy was an addict. Instead of receiving the judgement of an angry god for his sins, Billy's experiences with consciousness altering substances in life seemed to open him up to surrending to the mysteries of the afterlife. I love the idea that addicts aren't failures at human experience, and are instead perhaps advanced souls who've chosen to walk difficult paths while physically incarnated. I highly recommend this book. I personally think this book should be handed out in rehabs and addiction support groups as much as bibles and the big book are. It's incredibly validating and empowering for the soul within the addict.

Great book, I could not put it down.

I love "The Afterlife of Billy Fingers" and can't put it down. The story and imagery is so meaningful. The reader gets to learn about Billy's earth life, and why he was given the opportunity to communicate directly with his sister on earth. The descriptions of the experience in heaven is fascinating! This story comes from Annie Kagan's heart, and I'd HIGHLY recommend this book to anyone. In fact, I plan to buy several copies as gifts to friends.
