satyajit ray - writers of the great 'un-put-down-ables'

i have read all the books of feluda written by satyajit ray. he is a great writer. i say it because, the way he has expressed prodosh mitter's moods, are exactly the same as the ones the inelligent people or the thinkers have while they are thinking. lalmohan ganguly is drawn carefully keeping in eye the common man.the man with a good heart. the ralation between tapesh and feluda seems real. comletely excieting thrillers. frankly, the un-put-down-ables!!
Fantastic fiction for children

I first read the Feluda stories when I was about 17. I noticed a distinct influence of the Conan Doyle Stories in that Feluda is a lot like Sherlock Holmes. However, this does not take anything away from the author as the stories are a very engaging read. I would say that they are ideal for a younger audience (as the author really intended), but I still enjoyed them very much (at the ripe old age of 17). I would recommend this story for any young reader with a penchant for the mystery genre.
