Best Fitness Book in the History of Time

This book outlines a very readable, very achievable program that is easy to follow, and yet feels challenging enough to feel effective. It begins assuming you have never tried an exercise program before, and that approach is helpful and always boosts self-esteem. Personally, I found this book perfect for me. I am nineteen and at college. I had mononucleosis for over a month. While I was recovering, I found that all my muscles had become very weak. I needed something to strengthen me again, and I browsed many exercise books before choosing this one. It helped me build good, healthy habits, and I do not feel like the exercise program is consuming my life, which is a good thing, as I am always very busy. I completed the ninety days mentioned in the title, and already I feel much stronger and healthier than I did when I began. I have lost weight and I feel like dancing a lot more than I used to. I wholeheartedly recommend this book.

From a former couch potato ...

The book by Mark Fenton and Seth Bauer was the first one to show me that I didn't have to be an athlete to start walking. Their approach is incredibly convincing: all you need is your own body and 10 daily minutes to walk yourself to successful fitness. I have been doing just that for almost a month now, and I feel much better already.

super for the exercise challenged...!

With a blown out knee and ankle, getting back into exercise has been frustrating. This book starts slow and easy and is very encouraging to get back into the swing of things. It starts VERY slow and easy (just 10 minutes a day for the first couple of weeks) so exercise veterans may not like it at all. Fabulous for the out of shape (out of shape for whatever reason). Get it. Go walk.

A Beginner's Guide

This is a great book for those who want to start and stick with any type of walking program. It's also good for those who are sedetary and/or obese. I am not a beginner when it come to exercise, but walking was a little boring to me so I purchased this book as a motivational tool and now I absolutely enjoy walking. I would recommend this book for those of you who want to start a walking program for fitness or just for fun.

Great for couch potatoes!

This is an excellent way to get yourself up off that couch and outside, exercising. It is geared for people who are doing no exercising whatsoever. It certainly inspired me to get started walking for fitness.
