This was purchased as a study guide for an adult Sunday School class. We have used Dr. Kalas previously. As Dr. Kalas points out, it is not quite as strong on the "Back Side" approach, since the Beatitudes are already "on the back side. However, the guide is very well written and lends itself to a vigorous and profitable discussion experience. It brings new and expanded understanding of their meaning in our current times.
