Good resource for when your child loses a pet

This story is about the love between a boy and his dog but most importantly it addresses what happens when Ben, the boy, loses his much-adored Barnum who dies of old age. This would be an excellent book to use when discussing grief and sadness with children. A very sweet story with a happy ending.
