Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning

So, I do love this book. But my goodness it is not worth the dough people are asking for it! I’ll be straight with you - you’re basically reading the film with expanded narrative from all the characters, especially Erin. The anxiety induced by everyone freaking out constantly is the same anxiety exhibited from the film lol. The overarching narrator *telling* the events had a bit of a hole in his, uh…final-page-“twist” that seemed a bit forced and unnecessary. Outside of that, I enjoyed the hell out of the book, tore through 400 pages in three days, pretty easy read. But don’t break your bank account for it!
