After I took the tests, I realized that I scored high in several areas indicating that I have many fields that my talents could fit. This book is great for people considering starting a new career or for kids going into college. Even if you don't change your career over the results, it is still interesting and advantageous to know where your talents and skills lie.

If you are looking for a book to help you analyze your career potential, this is the one! This book has everything you need in it--it has tests to measure your abilities, motivation, and personality. Other books on the market only have pieces of this information, and cost much more. The tests did take some time to take, but I thought they were right on the mark for me. This book is well worth the money!

This well organized book includes a battery of skill, aptitude and gratification tests. The results of the tests give the user an indication of the type of person they are which cross-references to a list of occupations.The 5 star rating reflects the value. I honestly believe that you could spend much, much more with a career counselor and know only a little more about yourself or your aptitudes than with these tests.By spending a few hours (I did this over a few nights), plus maybe taking a Myers-Briggs test online (or one like it), and you'll have a good current assessment of yourself and a hint of a direction for less $15 (including s & h!).tip: have a friend or your spouse help with the testing. They will be interested in your results and may be inspired to do something for themselves as well.

This book gave me insights to myself and helped me see I was on the wrong career path. I was able to change majors and find something I could enjoy and be successful at.
