Excellent read for basic terrorism studies

As a phd student focusing on terrorism this book was a good basis for beginning study. It is well written and contains many helpful links and furhter reading. It would be the ideal course book for an undergraduate studying international relations with a focus on terrorism. In parts it seems to lack any specific detail in important areas but overall it is an excellent beginner book. The information boxes are an added bonus and explain terms that may not be as well known to people just beginning theit study. Anybody with an interest in the topic of terrorism will learn a lot from this book. Overall I would find it well written and well laid out but somewhat basic for anyone who has previous knowledge in the area of terrorism.
