Temptation and Surrender: A Cynster Novel

Secrets and treasure lead Emily Beauregard and her siblings to rural Devon and to Jonas Tallent's inn. Jonas is in need of a manager for the inn, but he is not looking for a woman to apply for the job. Willing to hire her on a probationary period, Emily and her siblings work at the inn while secretly deciphering the cryptic rhyme and the clues to find the treasure. Jonas and Emily eventually join forces to hunt for it. But someone else is also searching for the treasure, and this villain has already killed once. Stephanie Laurens creates phenomenal characters. Each one feels real. Her villain is richly dark. Laurens' dialogue is sharp and witty. Her plots and subplots draw the reader deep within the pool of her storyline. Her descriptions place the reader within the setting. Thank you, Stephanie Laurens, for another terrific book.
