As a free black woman living in California, Opal Pollard has made a good life for herself. She has her own successful business and she's engaged to a wonderful man. But when her past comes rolling... This description may be from another edition of this product.
The plot was fascinating, kind of like the picture brides of the past. Fierce women are shipped to a town, believing it's a large city, only to find it be be out in the middle of nowhere. Females will love these romances, adults may also. Very graphic at times, but nothing raunchy.I'm glad the author threw in a book on a colored female, I loved the variety of the snotty sisters, the evil dark haired woman, and the silly blonde. Kind of stereotypical, but very enjoyable. I only disliked the title of this series, BRIDES OF WILDCAT COUNTY wasn't a nice one to carry around.
Another great book in this series!
