Not what I ordered!

I expected a good version of this book and got a stained old school library book with a cover nothing like what is shown. The website needs to be more specific on these books. Including pictures of what you will actually receive. I would have paid for very good to get what I wanted.

this book was lit

I would not recommend this book to people older than 12 years because it might be too much for a younger group of kids and they could but it would be good for older so they would noo not to be mean to every day. Because talks about child abuse, drugs, and a kid named andy that is a basketball star. He has to help his sister grow up and stay safe and drugs would ruin your life it will make you go wild because they are rotten your body from the inside out. I enjoyed this hole book it full of plot twist it is so good with all the twist and suprise all out of nowhere and they. I loved the booked

I recommend it

I would recommend this book. This book has plot twists and many surprises that wasn’t expected. But their are some things that you need to know. It has violence, deaths, and abuse. Even though some may say is too much, we can learn from their experience and try to think about our decision before making one. It wasn’t my favorite book but is not my least either.

It Good

It Very Good

In one horrifying night, Andy's life changed forever

This is a powerful and creative novel. Teens who drink and drive need to learn the consequences. I hope Rob and Andy are in better places

Read It !!!

I would recommend tears of a tiger to adults and middle schoolers, The text says that in the beginning of the story they get in a car crash because they were drinking and driving. This made me think off adults drinking and driving and learning from it, People say its violent and i would recommend you to get this book!

a must read 🤗

i would recommend this book for teens and adults also family because it shows u what could really happen if u Dont take care of yourself and u would really get in two my statement is that the way the book go on its just so much intensity

read it

i would recommend tears of a tiger to young adults this book focus a lot on sports like basketball, this book focus on sports in high school most young adults would like this book.

One of my favorite books!

I would highly recommend Tears of a Tiger to other teenagers and young adults. The books Tears of a Tiger is a very real book that shows things some people and even other teenagers go through. It has a very mature topic and surreal topic such as, suicide, social issues and early death. With so much emotion in this book, the reader is instantly hooked to keep on reading to find out what happens next! Even though some maybe say Tears of a Tiger is depressing or devastating, i think it is a good thing people need to know about and you can learn what to do in hard or difficult situation like Andy.

I must read!!!!!!!!

I would recommend, Tears Of A Tiger to middle school students. Mostly teenagers and young adults. This book throws you around and about on an emotional roller coaster. Its about 4 basketball players in there teens drunk driving and killing one of there friends causing a major impact on their lives. Tears Of A Tiger is an emotional book its about loss, love, hurt , unforgiving , and fear. This book keeps you on your feet once you start reading you don't want to stop. Even though its a tragic story, its real life story's, lessons , and situations. Most teenagers today drink and drive and end up getting hurt. what if they had read this but before they had did those things. This book makes me look at things differently. It helps you grow up and realize what can affect you in the real world through your choices.

you MUST read this brilliant book!!

I would recommend TEARS OF A TIGER to others, that are Teenagers and young adults. Unlike some books the death of a charter of "Andys best friend" as you can say immediately happens. Theres so much action in this book it makes people want to keep reading. YES this book is very intense and has real life problems, but it can help people though these problems as well. So I would recommend this book.

Must Read!

I would recommend TEARS OF A TIGER to teenagers and young adults. Unlike most Novels we our thrown into a situation that is very traumatic and emotional. It shows how a teen named Andy goes through a traumatic experience and how he is trying to deal with it! Some people feel this Novel is very emotional and dramatic. This Novel may be a life saver for some people.

Best book

I would recommend this book to kids older kids younger I don't recommend it this book deals with death, basketball, suicide and drunk driving it has that much in it.The main character Andy is drunk driven and kills his friend I think this book can teach people to don't drink and drive.

You need to read Tears of a Tigers

I would recommend "Tears of a Tiger" to young teens to read this because their are to many deaths in the book like people committing suicide and the experience of this book would be to much people younger than 13 years of age. I say that because this book starts with a death, it also includes sports, young teenage love, child abuse, and it also ends with a death of the main character. Even though some say this book is to intense for others because it starts and ends with a death, and it would be to intense for a person that has had this experience with a family member so it would be to intense for them to read this book.

Tears of a Tiger is a book that you shouldn't get you're kids 12 and under.

I wouldn't recommend this book to parents getting a book for their children to read or for them, because it has violence and events will happen to fast, so you would get confused. I would think this because in the beginning of the book it already starts out with drinking and driving leading to a tragic accident. This shows that even the first three pages are to intense for children 12 and under, and later on in the book it has suicide in it. Tears of a Tiger should be recommended because it shows suicide prevention to.

Tears of a Tiger is the best book I've ever read.

I definitely wouldn't recommend Tears of a tiger because if you read it and your depressed its technically telling you to kill yourself because its not ok or it won't get better. At the end, he kills himself, and his little brother finds him dead, so its hard to read this book because its about someones friend dying, and then he kills himself because he cant deal with it anymore, so its sad to read. Even though some people may say that this book is easy to read I think that its hard to read especially if your dealing with something of your own.

Best book I've read in a long time!

I recommend this book for all the teenagers! This book includes sports, love, drama, issues, suicide, and death. Tears of the Tiger is a great book to read if you love to be surprised. Tears of the Tiger includes a group of friends that gets into a bad situation, but only 1 out of the rest ends up dead after their basketball game. What I love about this book is that everything starts off so fast unlike most books you read. It catches your attention the first few pages. It's a great book even though some say this book keeps them on edge because it includes death/suicide.

Anyone any age should read Tears Of A Tiger!

I would recommend Tears Of A Tiger to anyone of age. The book starts with sports, love, death, and consequences of drinking and driving. It's also very action packed. At the start of the story, Andy unintentionally kills or "robbed" his best friend of his life by drinking and driving. Some may not like it because they don't like action-packed books and they might understand not to drink and drive, but that doesn't take anything away from this amazing book/story.

Tears of a tiger is my favorite book read it

I would recommend this to teens and young adults. In tears of a tiger the text said that a drunk teen got in a crash and died. The book would teach teen not to drive drunk. but on the other hand it can make people that have driven drunk and killed his or her friend or anyone even more depressed ,and sad then they where already.

Tears of a Tiger is Definitely a book to read!!!

I would recommend "Tears of a Tiger" to any teenagers who love to read dramas. This book is full of sports, highschool love, child abuse, and death. I know! thats a lot in one book. All the things that happen in this book will grab the attention of anyone at least 13 years old. Even though this book is filled with drama, some people who are very emotional may not be able to handle all the things that happen.-GW

tears of a tiger

Tears of a Tiger is about a boy name Andy whose best friend died in a vehicular homicide accident, and he is still blaming himself for it. I like this book because it was full of exciting events and touching moments. My favorite person is Andy because he deals with a lot, and still tries to play it off. This book is not written like a regular book, it has homework assigament and all types of essays and police reports. Kids who like to read about real life events, I would recommend this book to you espicially teenagers who drink and drive. It might make you think the next time before you take a drink. I am a student in the 8th grade, and don't drink, ( YES! ).

Tears of a Tiger

Tears of a Tiger is about a young boy named Andy and how one car accident changed his whole life, In this book it talks about how Andy is drunk driving and one of his friends in the car is killed. Throughout this book it tells about some of the many strong emotions that occur. I thought that this book was very well understood for my age level. I think that this book could change many lives! Tears of a Tiger tells a lot about the life of teenagers and what they are feeling after dealing with the death of their best friend. I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read about realistic issues that could happen everyday.

A dramatic story of a boy who takes life the wrong way.

Tears of a Tiger Book Review Happy-go-lucky teenage boys, play basketball and party; figure out how fast all that can change. Andrew(also known as Andy) Jackson, a basketball player who has his license, and his girlfriend Keisha, have been going steady for a few months. Andy's friends Robbie Washington, B.J. Carson, and Tyrone Mills, all go to the Hazelwood High School together, and have been friends for years. Robbie, Tyrone and Andy are party animals, while B.J. is more down-to-earth and passive. One night the boys decide to get a six-pack and have one of their usual "late-night rituals" together. Andy is the driver and has been drinking, and Robbie has his feet up, dangerously on the dashboard. Carelessly drunk and still driving, the boys head out on the highway, where later they hit a wall and helplessly watch Robbie burn to death in the car. There was nothing the boys could do to get him out of the car, but Andy still blames himself, because he was driving. Andy goes deeper, and deeper into depression, and loses his girlfriend Keisha through his anger and crying. He even sees a counselor, and his friends think he is fine. All that smile and charm is hidden behind a crying mask, and his friends can't reach out to help him. But even a counselor couldn't help his friends through the tragedy they were going to face....in the future. Sharon M. Draper has put together many books like this one, to help young adults through problems that they will face, in their teen years. The book, she hopes, will teach young readers to deal with their problems and to stay away from drugs, alcohol, and suicide. This book is a mix of drama, action, and slight horror. The book was worth the reading, and if you like books that make you cry, you can guarantee this one! It was put together in a conversational form, which was difficult to follow in the beginning, but you will catch up soon, and it just gets better and better. If you ever come across this book, be sure to read it; it may change your life.
