Teacher's Toolbox: A Primer for New Professionals

The new version of this book is called "Trade Secrets Tips, Tools, and Timesavers for Primary and Elementary Teachrs". The book is very organized and easy to read. It begins with "before the students arrive" and guides you through setting up your classroom, ordering supplies--gives you a list of everything you need. The book also guides you through planning the first days of school, building a classroom community, etc... and ends with what to do when the last day of school arrives. I highly recommend this to all new teachers. I have reviewed other books of this type, but they are no where near as comprehensive and organized as this book. Get it, you won't be sorry. You may want to request the new 1999 version. Good luck.
