Teach Yourself Microsoft Visual InterDev in 21 Days

I thought the book was excellent. It gave me a great overview of internet development technology and it went into enough depth so that I could get a pretty good grasp of the major concepts. I realize I will need other resources to get the depth I need but this was an excellent starting point. I will surely purchase another book done by this author.

Overall, the book has good organization and structure. Of course, in 21 days, one can only cover so much material. I would not use this book as a reference handbook, but as a beginning tutorial, the book gives you the introductory insight you need to start creating web applications. I wish the author had gone into greater detail on Active Server Pages and Active Data Connector technologies (more indepth real world examples of each), since these will be the foundation of dynamic web sites

Until this point, I had been reading the documentation that comes with Visual InterDev. What a difference this book makes. Its well written, neatly organized, and clearly explains how to take full advantage of Visual InterDev and ActiveX controls. Great book. Get it.
