Sweet Grandma gift

This book has become one of my favorite gifts to give to grandmothers of little girls. It is beautifully illustrated, and written. The story is easy for little ones to follow and such a darling ending. Every little girl that I know who has been read this book loves it. In the beautiful "Fancy Nancy" style that Robin P. Glasser is known to illustrate this book is sure to be a special keepsake for any little girl and her grandmother.

fun book for kids

My 5-year-old daughter loves this book. It is perfect for a princess/sporty/active girl. I read it to her kindergarten class and even the boys enjoyed it. The illustrator does the Fancy Nancy books. The character in the book imagines what it would be like to have tea with the queen, and the artwork is regal, colorful, and contains the people in her life dressed as if they were meeting the queen.

Great book for Girls

I gave this book to my nieces and they love it. I didn't care much for the story line but the girls really enjoyed it. So if they like it than i like it as well.

Tea for Ruby

This book was for my Grand daughter to help her understand that manners are important

Funny and Fun to Read

PURE JOY! If you have to -- and with children, you do, indeed, have to -- read a book over and over again, you want one that brings joy each and everytime to both the audience and the reader (how often have you tried to turn two or three pages together at the same time and your child reminds you, "No, you skipped a part!"). But the illustrations of Robin Preiss Glasser, of FANCY NANCY fame, always keep you entertained and the breezy copy in this new book by the Duchess of York, are a joy read. It's a manners book, sure, but it is a romp, with a charming ending and a lot of laughs as Ruby -- based, I'd guess, on high-energy Sarah Ferguson herself as a little girl -- learns the proper way to behave when she's invited to tea with the Queen.
