Taste of Home has a winner here. The recipes all use a cake mix which saves you time. The recipes I have tried have all been great. Can't wait to try more of them.

This book really helped me come up with some great ideas for cakes for a banquet that I was recently asked to do. Everyone is still raving about how delicious and beautiful the cakes were. I love the pictures that go with each recipe. It's really helpful for me to see what it is I'm going to make. This is my favorite cake cookbook. I've already recommended this book to my family and friends.

I purchased this book a few days ago and spent quite some time combing through every single recipe. I'm usually a scratch baker but like most people, I'm pressed for time and occasionally need a quick, fast and delicious dessert to bring to a potluck, birthday or other celebrations. I baked the Hawaiian Sunset Cake (pg. 11) and it turned out beautifully. It was hard for me not to sneak a bite of of the cake! I love that the recipes are easy to follow and ingredients are commonly found in the grocery store. This has become my go-to dessert cookbook. What a great addition to my cookbook library!
