WHERE THERE'S A WILL....THERE'S A WAY

What was the point in having beauty and wealth if one couldn't do what one wanted to do because of GENDER? Angelica didn't know, but she planned on overcoming it. Suffragette and debutante, the Boston Blunderbuss--as she'd been dubbed by the English Lords she'd been sent to marry--had nothing if not will. Lord Wlliam Claridge had a wont to gamble and enjoyed training Thoroughbreds, but his older brother had tightened the family's purse strings. Strapped for cash, the handsome rake decided to resort to the unthinkable: MARRY. For money. But when his mark turned out to be a more spirited filly than he had ever before saddled, he felt his heart bucking wildly. Suddenly, much more was on the line than his pocketbook. And the answer still came down to TAMING ANGELICA! ! ! ! I couldn't put this book down...I don't usually read in the daytime as there is much more to do, but this book kept me going no matter the time of day. A VERY WELL WRITTEN BOOK.

Submission? or Cleverness?

Both the hero and the heroine have ulterior motives, but their passion leads them to come up with a perfect solution. I hope Will Shakespeare will rewrite the Taming of the Shrew when he reads this book!

Where there's a will...

In "Taming Angelica," Ms. Chambers delivers a thoroughly modern heroine set in Victorian times. Angelica is quick witted and funny, and a delight to follow. The relationship she has with the hero, Will, is most appealing, as their business arrangement turns into much more.

A funny, hot book

This is a great book by an author I've never heard of. It's set in Victorian London and tells the story of two people who start out to use each other for selfish purposes and end up falling in love. The love scenes sizzle. I'll definitely look for more books by this author.
