Rely on YOUR intelligence

Man alive, how on earth do you review this book? In order that those of who are not serious about finding the truth should be able to avoid reading the rest of this rather long review, I will start with some totally indigestible facts:- (i) it purports to be the fundamental gospel from which the one's we know derive (ii) it was discovered in Israel, by Billy Meier, the UFO contactee, with alien assistance (iii) it says that God was in a fact a "god", a human alien (iv) that the man known to us as Jesus did not die on the cross but survived and married, and had children, and traveled the world There - totally turned off? Ready to throw this piece of patently idiotic nonsense in the bin? Then go ahead, the book is not there to persuade, and it will not persuade, I repeat it will not persuade. Rather, the book is there for the furtherance of the enquiries of anyone who is in a place in their lives where they can use it. So who will be able to use it? I suggest people who are trying to understand these several things:- (i) Why is the God of the old testament such a SOB? If you are a true seeker you have already heard all the reasons Christians give for this, but is it not the case for you that it does not quite wash? After all the careful reasoning are you still not left with the feeling that God really was a capricious, partisan, jealous, despotic, egotistical bastard? In this connection, those of you who are rusty, I would say there is a great deal to be gained by reading the Old Testament again, without fear or favor, and seeing afresh just how bad "God" was. Ask yourself, "if my Dad had done that would I think he had done right?" See if, after you list it all down, you can still buy all the excuses put forward by Christians. But those of you who are already there on this count will find the book, not just interesting, but a relief. (ii) The oddity of the notion of "believing in Jesus". Paul, whose ideas have come to dominate Christianity, as we have received it, says that we shall be "saved by faith". In support of this idea of salvation by faith we have the supposed words of Jesus "whosoever believes in me..." etc. But does this not strike you as the most strange thing imaginable? I have to "believe in" - whatever that means - a figure from deep in history who I never knew and about whom we have ancient and threadbare and questionable evidence, and if I do I will go to heaven?!!! If that piece of madness, and all the associated, circuitous and tortured justifications for it gnaw away at you, this book will be of great interest. (iii) The authoritarian nature of Christianity. Christianity in the form we have it and, as it (sort of!) arises from the Bible, amounts to the presentation of a, supposedly loving, ultimatum that reduces to "believe in me, and give up your wicked ways, or die and suffer eternally, in hell". It is dressed up all sorts of ways but that is essentially it, "bend the knee, or die" Now observe your reaction to this.

The Real Story of Jesus?

Billy Meier presents us with the Talmud of Jmmanuel, which is allegedly the true gospel story before it was distorted by Christians and Jews. This document was found fairly recently in Jmmanuel's actual burial cave. Meier himself has been in contact with extraterrestrials from the Pleiades for years. He is in the center of one of the more interesting alien contact stories presented in books like Light Years. The book doesn't really have anything good to say about the followers of the distorted doctrines of Christianity, Judaism, or Islam. Distortion of once true teachings always leads to evil. Jmmanuel, otherwise known as Jesus, makes prophecies that the followers of these faiths will shed a lot of blood and bring a lot of evil and suffering into the world. He especially comes down hard on Jews. Jmmanuel urges us to live by the laws of creation, which he never really spells out. Unfortunately, we do not have the whole document, so the information may be missing. He does lay down very strict laws regulating sexuality. He claims to be the son of the Angel Gabriel, not the son of God, and that he gets his wisdom from highly evolved beings from outer space. Regarding sexuality, he forbids anyone to participate in adultery, co-habitation, male homosexuality, prostitution, fornication, bestiality, child sexual abuse, and incest. Rape, violence, marrying a guilty divorced person, or divorcing for frivolous reasons are forbidden. The punishments for these things are harsh: sterilization, castration, banishment, and sometimes imprisonment and execution. If the laws of nature are not followed and enforced with these punishments, corruption, chaos, wars, and suffering increase. The guilty should not go unpunished to be able to go around and corrupt others. The guilty also need to be punished so that they will learn in this life or the next what they should and should not do for the betterment of their spirits. Strangely, lesbianism is said to be permissible. Another law of nature is that only 500 million should live on this planet, otherwise we are beyond our carrying capacity and will not be able to live in peace and in harmony with the planet or each other. Jmmanuel predicted 2000 years ago that 2000 years from his lifetime war and suffering will increase greatly because these rules will not be kept. On the more liberal side of things, Jmmanuel states that women should have equal rights and obligations. He also states that reincarnation is the process by which spirits perfect themselves by entering bodies lifetime after lifetime. He says that we should seek knowledge and wisdom by consulting our spirits. I found this to be a vague directive. He empowers people's spirits and does not urge us to look to a god to save us. He is "for the people" and against the wealthy and tyrants. He predicts that people will begin to rise up against their governments around this time. He specifically condemns and curses the Jews, saying that they are not a real tribe,

very interesting

If you are open minded about religion, this will have you thinking carefully, that the book of matthew has missing information found in the Talmud of jmmanuel....this can be very contraversial to a christian. it would be easy for a christian to debunk this book for the mear fact, it changes what we know about biblical history, and for some, how the scrolls of Judas Ischariot were found may be hard pill to swallow, I find it completely engaging and a must if you study religion or are just curious. I Definatly recommend it.

Book full of wisdom

This book can be compared with the book of Mathew from the Bible, it is amazing how with almost the same words of Mathew the meaning is complete different, while in Mathew Jesus speaks about the kingdom of heaven in this book is talking about the kingdom of your own spirit providing the reader a lot of wisdom and knowledge and everything sounds more logic. It is explained in more detail and in a more logical way the life of Jmmanuel known as Jesus in this book and it mentions the reason of this name. There are some different concepts from the canonical, like the concept of Creation being more than the concept of God, the book written by Judas Iscariot and the false concept of being the traitor, the survival to the cross, and the life of Jmmanuel after the crucifixion among others.

Awesome book says Chris Bores of Y2B Productions!

This is a book that must have a place in your library. This is a rare book that slowly made its way to the US. I got my version years ago from a guy selling it in India. At the beginning of the book, it tells of how this massive collection of scriptures were found where Jesus was supposedly to be buried. Which would make these More Valuable than the Nag Hammadi Scriptures. But sadly this book is only one third of its full version. Why? Because Christians were so threatened by this book, that they set fire to the tent that this book was resting in. Fortunately, a third of the text had already been transcribed and sent off to England for study. It makes me so mad that a religion that preaches love and humbling yourself can house so much hate and resentment to any new text that could threaten their level of security in a religion. So sadly this is what is left of this amazing find. But onto the book, this is a treasure trove of interesting stories that even clear up the ones that are vaguely and poorly represented in the 4 synaptic gospels. Jesus has never sounds so intelligent in these pages. It almost seems like the Jesus in the Holy Bible was somewhat dumbed down in order to appeal to the masses. Something that either Paul or Constantine could be blamed for. This gospel even clarifies on what happened when Jesus went out into the wilderness and fasted for 40 days and night. Just as with the Buddha sitting under the Boddi Tree, worlds began to open up in front of him and the knowledge of the universe poured from out of these realms. Finally we get a gospel, worthy of calling a gospel. Unedited by time, priests, governments, and the like. This is finally a Jesus I can relate to. Do not pass up this book. This is a rare gem and it should be sitting beside your Nag Hammadi Scriptures, The Jesus Sutra's, and the Nicolas Notovich's: Jesus in India book.
