Book is MUCH better than the movie

While I loved the casting of the movie that they made out of this book... the movie was horrible. I read this book when I was much younger and LOVED it. So, just in case someone wants to pass this over because they saw the movie and it was just not good for them... try the book instead. You don't have to suffer through the horrible effects and some things are explained better. It hardly ever fails that the book is better than the movie... and this is no exception.

WOW!

This is the way horror novelizations were meant to be written!A group of people are locked in a run-down inn, trying to keep themselves alive as wave after wave of demons attack and a mysterious salesman offers them temptations beyond immagination. The characters, though completely different than those of the film (the book was probably written off an earlier draft of the script), are hilarious. The Salesman is the best of them all.I personally think this book is the best TALES FROM THE CRYPT thing (couldn't think of a better word) of all.Buy the book. You'll be laughing so hard you won't even realize you're still reading into the late hours of the night.

Demon Knight

TALES FROM THE CRYPT: DEMON KNIGHT By Steven SpielburgI just got done reading a great book Tales From The Crypt: Demon Knight. It is a scary story, but I love this book. It has a great plot. The events described are so realistic. The ending is so great it reveals the great story's main conflict. Something new and exciting is always happening. It is a little long, but that didn't stop me from reading it. I would recommend it to Thirteen-year olds though and not younger. Even adults like this book. It is a good book for religious people too cause it is a fight between HEAVEN AND HELL. That's when you find out hell is more than just a four letter word. Right in the beginning of the story a freak car accident happened when one-man chosen form heaven to protect the earth and one man from hell (The Devil) go at it. It involves seven keys to open the realm between earth and hell. The Devil has six of them and needs one more. The key is filled with blood that seals off places with a force field that the devil can't get through. The Devil gets what he deserves.
