What if a mean girl from your school thought she was the best? Would you do something amazing to bring attention to you and not her? Well, that's exactly what Mac did in the book Zoey Dean's Talent by Zoey Dean. Mac is the daughter of a very famous person and her mom is also a talent agent to the most famous star in Hollywood, Davey Woodward. Mac never ends up in magazines with her family even though she's rich, pretty, and has famous friends. Emily is a normal, average girl from Iowa. She is coming to California, with her mom and her best friend, Paige, for a vacation. When Emily sneaks into the party Mac tries to get her into a movie, with Emily's secret crush, Davey Woodward! I was very surprised about the ending of this book. Everybody who loves to read or anyone that wants to be famous when they grow up would LOVE this book. When I was reading it there was nothing in the world that would make me put it down. NOTHING! Zoey Dean is the author, but every chapter she goes between the lives of different people during every day. She goes through the life of Mac, Emily, Paige, Coco, and Becks. This was a phenomenal book, it was amazing and I hope she makes more of these books in the future. Read this amazing book and find yourself going through the life of all these people and feel like you're flying through California. Find out if Mac will get Emily into the movie and Emily will keep Mac her talent agent and live a happily ever after or if Mac doesn't get Emily into the movie and Emily doesn't trust Mac anymore and fires her??? You'll HAVE to read the book!

Great Book

I have read the A-List also by Zoey Dean. I didn't thoroughly enjoy the whole entire series

FUN!!!

I read this on a car-trip and it was great. I really like books about Hollywood and this one if fun because it has a twist.

addicted already!

I didn't think it was possible to get addicted to another series but I already am. I just bought Talent and read the whole thing straight through! The story is about Mac (Mackenzie Little-Armstrong) who wants to find a talent because everyone else in LA has one. Then Mac discovers a new girl named Emily at a party and decides to make her a famous actress. She thinks that will make her and her friends famous, too. Mac is a girl who knows how to make anything happen--even if it seems really unbelievable, Mac can do it. Her friends' dramas are super funny, and I really like the character of Emily, who gets totally made-over LA-style! This story was good, fun, fast reading with lots of over-the-top details that make it stand out from other books I've read. Especially Kimmie's hilarious Sweet 13 that turns out anything but sweet!--but I don't want to give anything away!

TALENT REVIEW

Like any young girl, Mackenzie "Mac" Little-Armstrong wants to find her talent--that one thing that she does better than any of the other students at Bel Air Middle School. Her friends already found their talents: Becks surfs like none other, and Cordelia is such a good singer that she's already working with a major record company. So why can't Mac figure out what it is that she's good at? Mac finds more than she bargained for when she meets Emily Mungler, a Midwestern girl with a flair for the dramatic. Mac sees what Emily doesn't--that Emily is a great actress. That's when Mac realizes: What if her talent is discovering the talent in others? What if she's the only one who can get Emily the recognition she deserves? Cute, fun, and impossible to put down, Zoey Dean's TALENT will definitely appeal to fans of her A-LIST series.
