Loved it and the love scenes were just a BOUNS, i mean i was exhausted just getting through the Love scenes, and his friend Crawford what a great friend to have and i'm so glad he got someone himself...BUT great book, sexy book and a steamy book if you love Historical romance novels this is your typical capture, captive, fall in love, i hate you, i love you romance......

I just finished reading this novel and all I can say is WOW! ::seigh:: This book grabs you from the getgo and takes you on a long and fun ride. A Spanish beauty named Luca was raised in a convent and wants to one day say her vows and become a nun. But her father has other plans, he wants her to marry Don Diego, the esteemed governor-general of Cuba. But on a boat ride to her betrothed, her Spanish ship is attacked by English pirates. With only seconds to think, she puts on the grey nun's clothes and impersonates herself as a nun. She soon finds out that her kidnapper is none other than El Diablo (aka Morgan Scott), the English pirateer who abhors any and all Spaniards. When he was a child, his family was killed by Spaniards and he was taken and tortured and transformed into a scrawny slave boy for 5 excruciating years. But when he meets his hostage Luca, he doesn't allow himself to give her to his crew or ravish him herself. There is somthing quiet not right. Although she says she is a nun, he feels otherwise. Under that formless grey clothing and long head cover, he sees that she is a passionate and desirable woman fighting for her life. It is almost amusing, the way that he constantly makes advances on her and she avoids him by falling to her knees and praying for her body and soul. After he founds out that she isn't really a nun, there is no stopping him. Her family can't seem to wait patiently for her ransom so her two brothers are set off to kidnapp her back. When Morgan and Luca are in bed, her brothers rush in and confront them. But before they take Luca away to her betrothed, they make her marry Morgan because her betrothed might decline the spoiled goods. After they wed them, they plan to kill EL Diablo so Luca would be a widwow. Poor Morgan is tied and beaten and also taken to her betrothed to await his faith. In Don Diego's home, she realizes that she loves Morgan and would say and do anything for him to die with his dignity intact... even say that she hates Morgan and wanted him to be tortured. Right when his crew arrives and rescues him from the rat infested cell, he also kidnapps Luca becuase he's angry at the things she said and supposedly did. All in all, an entertaining and SIZZLING read. Enjoy it for what it is :entertainment. I loved the main characters, especially Morgan who looked like an angel but was named after the devil. The setting were pretty fun, not too many, just interesting enough . Especially Morgan's island (thought it was called Andros Island) in the Bahamas. makes me wanna take a trip! It had adventure, a truly loathsome enemy -the bethroded Don Diego, a nice plot, hot and steamy sex scenes just jumping out of the pages, nice scenery, and cool sec. characters.

This was a pretty awesome book. From begining to end. I couldn't put it down and read it in about 5 hours. Morgan and Luca are explosive and well defined characters from the begining. Morgan is on a revenge mission that has lasted for years. For Morgan it is not enough. In Luca he sees an opportunity for more. But alas, Luca is not what Morgan expects and neither are his feelings for the firey, curageous Luca. Even while he is lying to himself about his strong reaction to her, all because of her Spanish blood, he cannot let her go and almost looses her while at court, leaving her stached in the country. Luca is all woman and Morgan affects her in such a way she is not sure how to handle it at first, but settles into her wanton reactions to Morgan soon enough. It is a wild ride and had my heart beating fast. I couldn't wait to read the whole story and will be reading it many more times in the future. It's a hot adventure and one wild ride. I am a big fan of Connie Mason and I give this one five stars! Can't wait for the next.

I really enjoyed reading this book. One thing I could describe about this book is engrossly entertaining!!!

I loved this book. The history that it involves is great. Living through the history through the eyes of Morgan and Luca made me want to learn more about their lives after the book was over. It was like living the love and heartache and joys they were going through. This book is a must read.
