I am sitting here trying to think what to write about this book and all I can think about is my husbands reaction when I explained what the book was about. Natalia is from a different planet where there are few women. The women that are there, are owned and basically sex slaves to their owners. She must parade around naked in front of her owner and be covered around anyone else. She only gets time to herself during sleep hours. Ryder is from another planet and he kidnaps her and takes her to his home. He kidnaps her initially to get information about when her owners, the high council members, plan on attacking his planet he lives on. They slowly fall in love, but quickly fall in lust with each other. As I was explaining all this to my husband, he wiggled his eyebrows and looked at me. I gave him the look of what? He then said that hmmm...a wife who is a sex slave! LOL...Sorry, we live on Earth hubby and I kind of like to think that you are my sex slave. LOL. I liked how this story was paced and how the plot was not just sex though. It had suspense which is hard to balance in an erotica novel. I also liked how each character had their own little story throughout the book. The author wrapped up each characters story with the ending they deserve. The author certainly has a knack for writing many small stories into one novel and making it all go together. Now, that I have found out about this author, I think I will have to look into getting some more of her books to read. [...].

Talia of Zortou has spent years since she turned eighteen as a Rosabelle pleasing males on a world where females are scarce . As he gives the woman of pleasure ecstasy for the first time in her life, Ryder finds he enjoys making love with her as much as she does with him though she tries to hide her passion he has enflamed. Talia realizes he is her ticket to freedom while Ryder realizes he wants more form his prisoner besides information, but having been brainwashed for her entire life she finds it difficult to betray her abusive handlers. Talia is a fascinating lead character as she wants to tell all to her kind liberator, but has problems doing so as she has been trained form almost birth to accept male dominance and abuse; she accepts is her fault when her handlers rough her up for an indiscretion. Ryder is more typical as a hunk of a hero. Although the lack of background about either planet leaves readers anchorless, fans will enjoy the erotic romance between a couple from different walks of life and planets. Harriet Klausner
