I found this in a box given to me by a retiring teacher friend and what a difference it has made! My class is completely engaged in spirited and engaging discussions and debates. The questions and activities provide an opportunity to teach factual content in a meaningful and engaging way, that also encourages critical thinking. I have shared it with the other social studies teachers at my school to similar success. It's a great resource.
