The idea of an ex-bordello with strumpet spirits floating around the rafters is hysterical and Colleen Collins "Sweet Talking Guy" is funny and sexy. Her hero and heroine are sweet and romantic and best of all was Belle, the hooker assigned to be their matchmaker. I love this book and I love the series idea.
...But the Flesh is Weak and the Love is Hot

Socialite Daphne Remington was a free-spirited soul whose exploits had earned her the nickname of "Renegade Remington." Her family was not amused. Neither was her fiance, gubernatorial candidate G.D. McCormick. So in order to make her family proud, Daphne had abandoned her ways and become a demure woman who would make a great governor's wife. But in a move to have one last fling before saying "I Do," Daphne boarded a tour bus to Maiden Falls where one of her ancestors had struck it rich in the gold mines and started the Remington fortune. Only one problem: the Maiden Falls Inn where she wanted to stay was booked solid and with no car, she was stranded. Maybe not. Newspaper reporter Andy Brannigan had a way with words and was known as a "sweet talkin' guy." He'd overheard Daphne's dilemna and recognized her. He was in Maiden Falls to write a fluff piece about the Maiden Falls Inn, a honeymoon hotel. It wasn't his favorite type of assignment, but he had hopes of one day writing a book on Colorado history and this was a means to the end. In the meantime, he decided to offer the stranded Ms. Remington a place to stay. In the 19th century, the inn had been a bordello, and all of its "ladies" had been killed by a gas leak. Now, in order for them to earn their way to the "big picnic in the sky," they had to help couples at the hotel find true love. But the spirit whose room Daphne and Andy occupied faced a rougher than usual challenge: these two were total strangers. Belle Bullette was only one happy-ever-after away from earning her trip to the picnic and she decided to pull out all the stops to get this pair together.Pick up a copy of "Sweet Talkin' Guy" and find out what happens when a gaggle of ghostly strumpets work their magic and help things along.
