Susan Boulet Bestiary: Postcard Book

Susan Seddon Boulet is and continues to be my favorite artist of all time. So I’m a little biased ;-) But these are beautiful – a compelling collection of animals and mythical beasts, all treated with Boulet’s enchanted, mystical touch. I bought them simply so I might have a stash of thank-you cards to give away on occasion, but may have to order a second set just for my own collection. The only thing I find a bit disconcerting is how the publisher’s descriptions on each card puts the mythology in the past tense, as if the culture that told that particular story doesn’t exist anymore (often not the case).
