David Herzog leads the reader into resurrection and supernatural power as he helps them enter into the spiritual gateways introduced in "The Ancient Portals of Heaven." Herzog has done extensive research on little known historical facts, archaeological findings, and scientific evidence of the advanced wisdom in Israel, especially in the days of King Solomon's reign. The book is also filled with David's personal stories of exercising kingdom authority as well as stories from many others who told of direct encounters with Jesus. David names and describes ancient geographical portals. These are locations today where a portal to Heaven was opened in ancient times, and is still available to those who access them today. The city of Jerusalem, Bethel, Galilee, and Eden each have a unique supernatural identity as a portal of healing, miracles, signs, wonders, covenants, restoration, or salvation. In addition to the geographical portals there are seasonal portals which include the feasts of God, or the Jewish feasts, which are available to anyone who believes. I found the chapter titled "The Ishmael-Muslim" connection helpful in light of the eyes of the world being focused on the Middle East today. It was refreshing to read of Herzog's upcoming involvement in Worldwide Harvest in Israel, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Well documented, masterfully written, and convincingly articulated "The Ancient Portals of Heaven" lifts the reader into heavenly places of glory, favor, and blessing.
