I known Mack for a long time and I read his books while I was in the Navy ,thus, I couldnt leave the ship while it was at sea.I could leave it mentality and imagion that I was flying a F16 without leaving the ship

This book is more than just an exhilarating read for armchair warriors and teenage Rambos, it also contains the solution to international terrorism. Alongside the highly-believable storyline, Maloney has cleverly constructed a blueprint for winning the war against insurgents/terrorists/guerrillas/rebels and all the other bad guys hell-bent on overthrowing the forces of law and order. If only my ancestors had followed his sound military strategy of indiscriminate mass slaughter, the illegal insurgency led by that terrorist Washington would have been ruthlessly crushed by King George III, the rightful ruler of the American colonies.

Once again Mack does it again with another great adventure. Keeps you on the edge of your seat. If you like Delta you need to read his other three. Alpha, Brave & Charlie. All great Superhawks books.

Clearly the best of the Super Hawk series ... Strike Force Delta provides an egrossing and highly entertaining battle with the heart of AlQaeda terrorist cell. Action well thought out and planned. The overcoming of obstacles in the dark world of covert-black ops through belief in team, mission, and country is very accurate and soul based. Insights to psyche of the series characters is well defined and precise with this installment. By far the greatest theme developed and set alive is the collecitve power of good people to overcome diversity. Thrown against a battlefield it is seen very sharply. Set against the war on terrorism it is painted in it's most vivid detail. Mack Maloney scores extremely well again. Depictions of endless tasks to keep overworked aircraft flying, trying to piece intelligence together to plan and execute a mission, all reflect reality and are skillfully put together in this book. As always the stand alone detail allows a new reader to the series to enter the realm and not feel cheated. I strongly urge you to read the series. For the dedicated fan, this should be one to savor. A very fast and solid read. To fight for your team is the highest form of comradeship forged in war, Mack captures this against the present crisis the United States is fighting in an outstanding style - enjoy!

This book depicts a showdown between the US and Al Qaeda in a battle as brutal as anything you'll ever read. The Superhawks anti-terror unit goes to a very isolated part of Afghanistan to recover the body of a dead colleague and to exact revenge on the terrorists who killed their friend. Though undermanned and lacking weapons, the heroes take on a huge concentration of terrorists in a city called Khrash. What happens next is almost beyond description. Read the book and you'll see what I mean. Fast, clever, action-packed and even providing answers to our country's current difficulties in Iraq, I highly recommend this book. But the ending broke my heart.
