Super Silly Riddles

My favourite chapters are "Asleep At The Switch," "Beating Around the Bush" and "Tickled Pink!"

My son is at the age where he *really* loves hearing and telling goofy jokes! Since I love buying him books to increase his reading comprehension (and keep him in the habit of seeing books everywhere and reading in general), I picked this up for him. He loves it! He'll sit and read--chuckling to himself. Sometimes, he bursts out "Hey Mom, listen to this one!" or "Hey Dad...you gotta hear this!" Here are a few of the corny jokes found in Super Silly Riddles: "What did one loom say to the other loom? Weave me alone." "What's wrong with the cleaning lady's computer? It didn't do windows." "Why did the farmer refuse to grow wheat? It went against the grain." "Why did the boulder's wife divorce him? Because he took her for granite." "Where do aliens keep their teacups? On flying saucers." You get the picture, right? So if you know a child around the ages of 7-10 who likes corny jokes, this would be a GREAT book for them. It's 94 pages and FILLED with short jokes and includes a handy index at the back grouped alphabetically by subject.
