Like coming home for a visit!

Debbie Macomber knows what readers want! In the latest book about our friends on Blossom Street, Lydia has a new group starting. Knit to Quit. Everyone who joins is trying to quit something, whether it be a habit, or maybe even a person. Each person has their own trial going on, from adoption/foster care, finding love or figuring out life. This book is the fifth one in the series but able to stand on it's own. However you won't want to miss any of the others! I can't wait to hear what happens next with Hutch and Phoebe or Anne and Tim!!! Keep em' comin!

Awesome

I just finished this book and I absolutely loved it. Can't wait for the next Blossom Street book by Debbie Macomber.

Five Stars + Spoilers Follow

Another great installment of Blossom Street series. Lydia and her husband have decided to adopted a baby but end up being foster parents to a surrly twelve year old girl. She's having a new knitting class where everyone is quitting something. Alix returns trying to quit smoking because she and her husband want to have a baby. Phoebe is trying to quit a relationship gone bad and Hutch is trying to relieve stress in his life for his health. I was surprised and happy with a man joining the knitting class. All the stories were very good except for two minor things I'm not sure why Phoebe chose to lie about her fiance and I'm surprised Hutch took learning the truth so well. And this series is starting to have the same problem the Cedar Cove series there's too many charactors its hard to remember who everyone is. Debbie Macomber had drop ins from previous books and it took a few minutes for me to remember who they were.

Another Splendid Macomber Book!

It was great to read more about our favorite characters from the earlier Blossom Street books, and to meet a couple of new ones! Macomber has done it again, excellent characters with real problems that get resolved, not always the way you would hope for, but realistically. I just love this "series" and this book was great.

Wonderful read

I thoroughly enjoy Debbie Macomber's books and look forward to reading all of them, and when this book came this past week, I immediately started reading and was done within two days. Although one reviewer said she never met a woman like Phoebe, I disagree. I have met many strong women who have had to make very hard decisions about relationships. If just one reader after reading of Phoebe's decision to leave the relationship of a unfaithful/manipulative partner, the story helped someone. No one, either male or female, has the right to abuse a relationship. Yes, the book has a happy ending, but then why do I read, to escape, to be uplifted. A wonderful read, put your feet up, a glass of lemonade on a hot summer day and Debbie takes your home.
