Student Resource Guide: Excursions in Modern Mathematics

The book is very thorough & I recommend this to anybody taking a math class that uses Peter Tannenbaum's "Excursions In Modern Mathematics." The author, Dale R. Buske, lists hints & helpful ideas for getting through the chapters as well as showing all work for the odd-numbered homework problems (back of the textbook shows odd-numbered answers only). If your bad at math (like I am) & if you find the math class & professor hard to follow (like I did) then "Student Resource Guide for Excursions In Modern Mathematics with Mini-Excursions" is well worth the money & in most cases, is sold used on this website for under $10. I give it a 4-star rating ONLY because it shows you how to work the odd-numbered problems only! In my opinion it should've showed you how to work EVERY problem! Especially if you pay extra for this.... All-in-all, this book is highly recommended by me & should be required when purchasing textbook. It's a definite MUST HAVE & a total lifesaver!
