This large and beautifully presented volume looks back on the whole of Diana's young life, to provide a narrative emphasising the influences of her background, and charting her childhood and adolescenece as the daughter of a wealthy earl and the restless, uncertain product of a broken home. It traces the Spencers'association with the Royal Family to the point where she herself met Prince Charles and eventually because his Queen-to-be. And it sets out the events, and the people by which her life has been and is still being shaped. With over 2,000 brillant pictures blazing through the book to illustrate her copious wardrobe, and with a complete check-list of every outfit she has worn on public engagements and many private outings, this is the definitive present-day work - reading, picture and reference book all in one - about the world's most popular princess.
Excellent reference book of the Princess early royal years

This book is choc a block with excellent early photos of the Princess of Wales. Many have not been published else where so it is an ideal book for Diana collectors. The text is rather out dated considering what has happened to the Princess in the years since the books publication, but the book is worth purchasing just for the great photos-all of them in color
