A Simple Romance

This is not one of Ms. Neels better romances, but it is fine. I enjoyed reading it and really like the main female character. Neither the "romance" aspect of the story nor the man male character is developed as well as in many of her novels, but it is a reliably clean and sweet story with an abrupt but happy ending.

Love story

A good, easy to read, clean love story. I enjoyed it, as I have enjoyed all her books.

Stormy Springtime

Meg Collins was an old-fashioned country girl facing an uncertain future. Now that the family house was being sold, Meg had to find a job. But where? Her skills were in cooking and gardening-- not shorthand and typing. Professor Ralph Culver offered a solution. The eminent doctor needed a "sensible, domestic person" to work in his London office. Someone like Meg. But it wasn't very sensible to fall in love with the professor. Or to hope that he would fall in love with her, too...
