Compelling story

Wilma Wall's writing and story telling skills combine to make a compelling novel. Velita's story will resonate with many women; her struggles to appease her husband's wrath, to shield her children are very believable. When Velita glimpses life outside her homemade prison she makes friends in contradiction of Ralph's orders. Then she discovers someone new in her life: herself. Storm Warning is Wilma Wall at her finest.

I could not put this book down...it is a compelling story that should be read by all women who are living in an abusive relationship. It makes those of us who have loving relationships very, very thankful.
