Fantastic book. She doesn't cater to the "princess" bride (or her sister-twin, the "bridezilla"), which is fine with me. The information is to the point, extremely funny, and refreshingly common sense. She points out several of the pit falls and tricks that the industry tends to use. If you have a budget at all then I would recommend you do not plan a wedding without this book. If I had any complaint it's that the book seems to end rather suddenly. However it also seems fitting that is do so - the wedding planning buzz tends to as well when all is said and done.

Some parts of this book were very very helpful. It is definitely better than any other wedding book I have attempted to read. I actually got through the whole book, and actually took notes and surfed some websites they mentioned in the book. All in all, if you're going to get a wedding book, I think this would be a good choice. I do wish it was longer, though.

This is one of the best wedding planning books I have come acrossed. It covers everything whether you are having a small to large wedding. Great ideas, do's and don't's, and some check off lists. Save your money and go for this one!!!

This book gives straight-forward, practical advice for the modern bride. Filled with lots of ideas, it also gives a reality check for newly-engaged girls who want to jump right into wedding planning.
