Starting Out or Starting Over is a great book to do either.....

As long as there are policies, procedures, laws, rules and regulations in the world we have to follow in order to have our decisions work out successfully or people that don't operate ethically and fairly, we need to tools to see all of the variable areas where we can unintentionally, come up losers. If you've ever experienced apprehension before entered a life decision due to lack of experience or you've made a mistake after executing a decision because you didn't do your research prior to making it, this book is for you. Starting Out or Starting Over helps arm you with the knowledge that opens up the cobwebs in your mind in areas that touch on common-sense or introduction to the processes. Many people do not have the intelligence to enter into grown-up decisions without seeing all the pitfalls or making sure that the results of decisions don't come back to haunt them. If we did, there wouldn't be so many lawyers. Starting Out and Starting Over allows us to start out with confidence of making decisions, and helps us reapproach things with information to avoid mistakes, even if we made them in the past, providing the knowledge on what should be done. I picked up this book browsing for "How To Buy A House" type books either by Nolo Press or IDG and think it's much more of a gem. A gem in that you get much more information than that about homebuying. Everything from opening a bank account to renting an apartment to getting married is here. I will not have a lawyer representing me at a home-buying opportunity -I have a finance person for the mortgage and the property person regarding the real estate. Now, I don't need one. This book helps in many life decisionhis book helps to identify some very important areas we typically overlook and arms us with information in the areas of our lives not always taught in school.
