Stage 46: The Reality of Reality Television

I totally enjoyed this book from beginning to the end. I laughed out loud while reading it as the author has a great way of describing events and physical descriptions of individuals. The book was a very easy read and highly entertaining. Not a dull moment in my opinion. This books is not great literature, but I knew that going into it and was just looking for a great story, which is exactly what I got. A great first book from the author. I am looking forward to seeing what he offers us in the future.

I could not put this book down!!! This keep my attention throughout. Not a dull moment with all the humorous phrases and Hollywood tie ins. Parts of this book were over the top for me, but still very believable as the book is an inside look at what life is like on a Hollywood set and we've all heard the horror stories. This book is funny, sarcastic, a little mean spirited, and full of great revenge tactics, which more people probably do when dealing with a boss from hell, but just won't admit to it. This book really shows you just how unappreciative Hollywood can be, even to those who are making the companies millions of dollars. It's not all fun and games as they want us to believe and this book shows us that. In my opinion a very daring book to write, because the individuals behind, and there treatment of employees and contestants, are exposed just as much as the individuals in front of the camera. A real eye opener. My final thoughts on the book: Very entertaining and a great in-depth look at the REAL Hollywood.

Good writing, great humor, and an all around very entertaining book. This book is everything that it's made out to be, full of scandal, truth, and a great behind the scenes look at Hollywood. Whoever the character of Jill is based on should be ashamed. Not only is she just a disgusting morbidly obese person but she has several of her own issues that she's dealing with, which she obviously takes out on her employees. What a terrible person, if I were her I would be so embarrassed. There's no secret that this book is based on American Idol and I am sure that the author has only touched the tip of the iceberg when it comes to what goes on behind the scenes of the show.

This book was great. I heard the rumor that it was about American Idol and after reading it there is no doubt in my mind that it is. It's a must read without question.

This is a very entertaining book that shows what really goes on behind the scenes of Hollywood. It's pretty obvious which show it's talking about and if you get this book you won't be disappointed!
