I really like this book. Stacey, one of my favorite characters, goes overboard in trying to change the new girl at school, Tess Swinhart, who is a sort-of oddball. Everyone always cracks pig jokes about her and it all started with Alan Gray, the most obnoxious boy in the eighth grade. After that, Stacey tries to make Tess what she is not. In the end, though, Stacey learns the true meaning of a friendship.
