Spooky Rhymes and Riddles Lilian Moore Paperback

Described as very good, came in excellent condition! It felt as though it had never been opened and stepped out of the past. I owned this book as a little girl and I was simply enchanted by it. The art is fun and whimsical, the limited palette and the loose strokes give it such a unique liveliness. I still remember some of the poems off by heart! They're very witty and the creative use of fonts in some of the poems gives texture and sound, which is so much fun. I know I'm on a nostalgic kick here but I honestly feel like this book is the best Halloween children's book, ever, and has sadly been lost to the sands of time. It would be perfect for reading to a classroom of small children, who I'm sure would simply gush over the silly rhymes and artwork.
